Need to cut down my growing collection as my understairs cupboard is a joke. What would you keep out of these 5 because having got them all out and lined up, I can't decide:
Baby Jogger City Elite
Bugaboo Bee
Cybex Callisto
Maclaren Quest
Maclaren Volo
Or, do I need them all? Wink

Tiggy that's basically what I've been doing. Buying something I like the look of when there's been a good deal, keeping it a few months then selling on eBay. Don't usually have a problem deciding what should stay and what should go, just being indecisive atm!

There is a company that does rent out pushchairs but the rental was expensive and it was a minimum of 3 months. For the money they were charging, you may as well buy a pushchair cheap off Ebay, enjoy it and sell it on again for the same (+fees if you want to be cheeky!) Buying and selling wisely is how pramaholics get by their OHs! They can't complain if you make a profit!

Keep the BJCE, the Bee, the Cybex and sell the maclarens. Pushchair hire really would be a great idea you never know what's going to niggle until you've had a few different types of outings.

Pushchair hire is actually a fantastic idea, it would be brilliant for first time parents! I really do like the cybex, the fabrics are are so lovely, the hood is great, unlike the quest's hood, and the seat is highbacked and padded nicely. I didn't even mind having newborn DD in it for short trips as the little cushioned head bit made her look snug. Maybe there should be mumsnet buggyswaps section where we can exchange for a few weeks!

I'd have liked to try a Cybex. Sometimes I really think there might be some mileage in my pushchair hire company idea. Not the long term stuff that's already been done but hiring for a day or two, just to see what a particular pushchair is like. I'd have saved myself a fortune!

Yes tiggy they do really, but you see maclarens everywhere, the cybex is just a bit unusual so that appeals to me i guess.

I'm not sure I like the city mini though! Id have to buy a gt as i like an adjustable handlebar but isn't that really just a scaled down elite? hope you like the yoyo, they do look incredibly cool and compact.
Think i'm going to pass bee on to a pregnant friend now, keep the quest for car journeys, elite for every day and keep volo in loft for trips away as it folds small. and just hide the cybex somewhere because i like it and it makes a change.

I do this kind of thing all the time! I hate making decisions! I think you need one of each type of purpose. The Cybex and Maclarens fit the same purpose in my book! Happy downsizing!

Right, sell all except the Elite and get a city mini for the car. Sorted :)

I've bought a Babyzen Yoyo. Must be mad but I wanted something for hols that is really narrow and folds up tiny. Much as I love my City Mini GT, narrow and tiny it ain't :o

Glad i'm not the only one with this issue! ihateparties pushchair pile up is exactly the right description! The reason for 2 maclarens is volo is 10 years old and was from DS1. I bought the quest for DD as stupidly bought the cybex without checking it goes in the boot of the car ok. It doesnt, has to go diagonally and makes fitting anything else in impossible! The bee is fab and I'm struggling to let it go but DD is 2 and its getting harder to push with her weight in it and the hood just goes over her head as she's tall. BJCE will never be sold, its brilliant! Perhaps I should sell bee... and maybe quest and buy something new whilst DD will still go in a pushchair

I recently cleared out all of mine, bought one new one and that was it. About a month later I've got another one arriving. I just can't do minimalism where pushchairs are concerned Blush

I agree, defo don't need two maclarens and a cybex.. keeping 3 sounds reasonable, elite, bee and one other Grin.

Unless you're freeing up funds then hmmm.

I recently downsized and I feel great about it, hate having a pushchair pile up!

Depends on the age and your lifestyle. Just from the list though I'd keep the Baby Jogger and the Bee

How old is your dc?

I'd definitely get rid of one of the maclarens and the cybex. Then I'd spend months trying to justify keeping the Bee but in my head I'd be saying I don't need it and the remaining maclaren is perfectly fine.
