Pushchair help needed

Hi,am hoping someone will be able to help me find a suitable pushchair for my baby due in April. I'm looking for something fairly compact, that folds down with the seat unit still attached. We have 1 car that DH uses for work, so I'll mainly be walking & occasionally using buses/tube. I'd like the option of a carrycot too. With my 1st DS I bought a graco travel system, big mistake it was way too bulky, ended up with a maclaren which was good, but looking around for something different now & there is so much choice!

Quite liked the look of the Babystyle Oyster, but read mixed reviews. Price wise I can go up to £500ish, happy to consider 2nd hand. Any suggestions very welcome!

Hi thank you for those recommendations, I think I'll definitely have a look at the Baby Jogger versa as well as the Baby Style Oyster.

The bugaboo & icandy are a bit out of my price range new, but I'll keep an eye out on ebay/gumtree just in case any good deals pop up on a second hand one.

I like the iCandy Strawberry too but its a bigger fold and you would need to buy it second hand.

A Baby Jogger Versa - a one handed fold which would be fab for buses / tube should you need to fold. Or maybe a Bugaboo Bee.

I love my Oyster, have had two issues with it in the 2 years since I got it, first time it was repaired second time babystyle replaced it completely despite me having no proof of purchase therefore no proof of how old it was!

The only thing I would say is that if you fold in one piece you either have an incredibly long fold, or a shorter but very chunky fold (depending if you have the seat parent or forward facing) and it won't stand up while folded either way. One thing that attracted me to it was the one piece fold but generally I've usually removed the seat anyway :)
