Had my rather ancient third hand P&T explorer E2 for a few months now. I still find it a total bastard to fold and end up swearing at it and more than once I have been left tearfully kicking it at the side of the road in the rain desperately trying to get it folded and in the boot. I don't use it that much as I prefer my cameleon for DD2 and only need it when I have both DDs and need to walk a long way (but did use it when PG with DD2 to do good off roading with DD1 so imagine I'll keep it for that when DD2 is bigger)

Friend who also have a variety of P&T models say they hate folding their too so is there an easy way or it it really that they have one horrific flaw (otherwise I love the thing)

I have an 'ancient' E3. To fold it you need to push the pushyin side to just the right place and at the same time pull out the pullyout side. scroll down for instructions

I don't have the "strap through the wheel" part. It's actually getting the mechanism to release and fold that gets me every time.

I find that I tend to balance it on the handle so I have a spare hand to bundle up the shopping tray bit, otherwise the front wheel just doesn't go flat.

I never bother with the whole strap through the wheel malarkey though. If you hold it wheels up by bar and handle you can lift it fine.

Managed to almost chop my finger off the first time I folded it though but then I am a clumsy oaf.
