hi guys, i currently have an uppababy vista pushchair for my 2year old. but she is getting very big very fast and i need to have a 'plan b' pushchair for when she grows out of it. shes really big probably the size of a three year old already so i need one that will last and fit her comfortably. also need a gigantic basket as i carry alot of equipment around with her for medical purposes. any ideas? hopefully a pushchair this big actually exists lol!

hi, i have a teutonia spirit s3 which i love. it has a big seat, can face either way, is cosy for winter and has a big shopping basket underneath which is easy enough to get at. you can get them on ebay cheaply second hand or i ordered mine new online from germany but have used it every day for over 4 1/2 years and it's still going strong.

Hi guys thanks for your reply yes I have looked at the maclaren special needs pushchair and of we cannot find another that is what we will get. She cannot get mobility as she has a breathing control issue, the condition is called cchs. We have to carry round 1-2 oxygen cylinders as well as a saturation monitor both small ish but heavy also we have our regular changing bag and a bag full I clothes as the medication shes on causes urination on a very large sale so we probably change her clothes twice a day because we are unable to keep up with her nappy changing. Her condition currently makes her very tired and she cannot walk the distance of a normal 2year old. Thankyou again for all ur suggestions I will have a look into all te pushchairs u have mentioned Smile

Baby joggers do have bigger seats. Phil and teds have huge baskets plus you can get panniers for them

If you're carrying medical gear about, are you entitled to mobility help for her? My dd2 has a hip problem and though she's currently fully mobile she was entitled to a Maclaren Major which did her until she was nearly 7.

If you're very into pretty pushchairs then this ain't it, but it is big, robust and folds down to practically nothing. You can buy them but they can also be provided for you.

Ds is just 2 and in size 3-4 clothes. We have baby jogger city mini & a bugaboo cameleon (since birth). Both still fit fine.

I would look at the Baby Joggers - BJCMGT, Elite, Summit, Versa or even a City Select; the Easywalkers Sky and Qtro; the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle or even the +One for all the equipment? The TFK Joggster Twist.
Out of all of these the Versa, City Select, +One and Joggster Twist have the best space for carrying equipment. The seat on the latter is enormous and yet its not a wide pushchair. Look also a BOB pushchairs.
