difference between stokke v3 and v2?

Hi,
We've made our minds up on a Stokke travel system, but can't afford new so ebay/gumtree it is.. Have had a play with the v3 in the shop,.but there are more v2 systems out there second hand,.and I'm not sure they do the v3 in orange, which I love!

Can anyone explain to me the major differences between the two systems? I read somewhere that the v2 seat unit doesn't lie as flat?

Thanks!

Hello - same position as Utopian99!
does it lie flat? the man at my local shop said you don't need the carrycot as the seat unit lies flat but not sure if this applies to just the recent version...

I think the rider board can be taken depending on the serial number on the V2 chassis. I had one of the last v2's to be made and the STOKKE website suggested it would take the riderboard but not 100% sure. The footrest looks quite a bit different to me on the v3 but otherwise not a major difference. I just sold my v2 for a double. Loved it.

Hi. The main difference is that the V2 chassis doesn't fit the Stokke rider board. If its your first baby then it's not an issue.

I am about to sell my V2 Stokke xplory in green fabric with carrycot seat changing bag footmuff etc etc. if you are interested, PM me. Smile
