Conservatory repairs

I have a conservatory with a small leak in it. The first company I spoke to said they don’t do repairs at all and quoted me more than £5K for a new roof. So has anyone else got experience of having a a repair done? The roof is polycarbonate, I assume. It looks like corrugated plastic.

Yes they had that too, were quoted almost 4K by someone else to do the whole thing. Called another guy in for a quote and he said he’d change just the damaged ones. 2 years on, nothing wrong just yet so at least they’ve had a bit more time to save if and when...

I’ve just had a company tell me they don’t do repairs as it can lead to problems and quote more than 5K for redoing the whole roof. I turned it down flat.

If it’s just corrugated sheets you can get a handyman to change the damaged ones. My neighbour had a couple of sheets changed, was about £350, didn’t take long, I think they were overcharged.
