I used another mumsnetters code and got 65% off my first box and 30% off for the rest of the month.
A box that was suppose to be £50 something I got for £17 something.
You can cancel even after the first box.
I used it mainly for fish and veggie options.
They also give you a free wooden Gousto spoon in your first box.

I've tried both and Gousto is better.
The promo for HelloFresh doesn't give you a good discount and I found the website harder to use.
There were only two veggie options that week that I could choose and it wouldn't let me change it as I had paused my subscription. I had to make it live again, change my order and then pause.
Goustos food was better aswell and they give you recipe cards that you can put in a binder whereas HelloFresh just give you a printed sheet with the recipe.
With Gousto I carried on even after the promotion ended and now just get one off boxes every now and then.
They have a really nice Vegan burger recipe.

You get all the food for the recipes.
Its a big box with the meat/fish on one side with ice packs to keep them fresh during travel.
Then on the other side of the box are the vegetables and packs of starch foods like pasta, rice. Cheeses and yogurts also.
Then there are labeled packets with stuff inside for each individual recipe recipes like stock, flour, spices, herbs.
It takes the thinking out of meal planning as everything is there. Plus I cooked with my children a few times and they really enjoyed it and it gave them some confidence.

I was going to try it but I didn't like having to check out before I could choose my meals - or even see what meal options they have. I think that's really poor!!

I've always been able to select my 4 meals before I check out with Gousto. I'm not sure why its working differently for you.
Only after I've selected does it show the price.

I just found that you can get a recipe card folder for FREE added to your order.
If you go to market place and scroll to tye bottom you can add the folder for £0.00
