Hi, does anyone have any experience of this website? I've had contradictory reports of it from other mums, but most saying it's very hard, especially for Literacy and NVR. Is that true? I need something challenging for DC and they are not very keen on Bond books ...

Any advice/ opinions would be really helpful. Thanks

Yes, DC did one this evening and found it very easy. I don't think it was 100%, but in the high 90s. That was the 11+ test; haven't tried the 11++ tests though.

I've not looked at Athey. Will have a browse!

We tried it briefly and found it too easy. Used it for super selective entry, but DD1 was scoring 100% on the tests, but much lower on all other papers. Two of DD1's friends used it solely and didn't make it past the first round. But that is just my experience, and was 2 years ago, so I may be wrong. Just use a variety of sources I think. GL assessment and Athey were better.

I feel your pain nicp123. It's hard to keep them motivated. Their too young to know why you think it's a good idea! I thought something on the computer might appeal to DC! Had you had the website recommended to you?

Consider yourself lucky if your DC will want to continue working after only one NVR test! I had to switch 2 the very expensive GL books!!! My DC's interest is slipping before my eyes, not sure how to motivate him anymore.
