Hello, I am looking for shared travel mini cab for my son from around heathrow/hayes/hounslow area to John Hampden Grammar school in High Wycombe. Or if anyone aware of any coaches that go from this area will be much appreciated to know.

Do you actually have a place? In previous years the last offered distance has been between 7 and 10 miles. I know this year they offered out to 17 miles so it occasionally happens but it's highly unlikely that there are many kids going from that area. Your best bet might be the Heathrow airport coaches that stop opposite the school but frankly if you've not yet accepted a space I'd think twice. Most of his friends will be based in the HW area so that's an awful long way to come and meet up with them. Also with traffic the journey could take up to an hour each way, each day. JHGS is good, but probably not spectacular enough that it's worth those sacrifices.

Gosh, that's quite a long way!

Given the options of schools we had, we decided to go for JHGS obviously with a concern for travel. And actually by car it is not that bad if you stay close to the motorway. We are just off the M25 and then M40 which takes us straight into JHGS and this takes around 25-30 mins. However, we can't take him everyday so he has to take a private coach from Iver and indeed here he is spending a lot of time in travel and hence I am looking for a private shared transport where we can save some time.

I was going to message to say don’t even contemplate that journey it’s absolute madness but I see your son is already there Sad

The M40 is often a a standstill around Handy Cross and a journey of this length surely stops your son taking part in extra curricular activities and being part of the school. To force this on a child for 7 years is a big ask.
