And the world record slow sandwich making goes to....

My 12yr old DS.

I don't know how it's possible to make a simple sandwich so slowly. The parting of the bread, the aimless opening of the margarine tub, pondering and thinking, time passes.....sometimes forgetting to put the margarine on full stop and going straight for avocado or slowly drizzling marmite on the bread and eventually, when generations have passed it's time to slowly cut the bread.

Try seeing it from a 'mindfulness' angle - it helps (well, it helped me)

Don't worry, it's Aldi margarine Bea.

Mind you, maybe I should swop the margarine for crack cocaine, less controversial on MN. Wink

Step away from the margarine OP.
Flora have declared MN officially a nest of vipers.

My teen is identical, it gives me the rage. Can't work out if it's a deliberate ploy to wind me up.

Google it Orchardgreen, it is a thing!

OP slow people are just the most irritating, whatever they're doing. I was trying to leave the house yesterday with a 5 year old. Literally all he had to do was put on his shoes, pick up his coat, walk out of the house, step into the car, sit down in his seat and be buckled in. It took a good 10 minutes!

I would only eat margarine as a child butter was too strong a taste for me. I grew out of it thank god so there is hope.
Can't help you with the slow sandwich making though just leave him to dream and starve
