12 year old son being called a paedophile!

So just before my son broke up for the summer holidays, he brought to my attention something about children saying he was a paedophile at school, I looked through his Instagram account tonight and he was having a conversation with a girl from his year, who informed him a lot of children were saying this. It has really upset me that children are saying this sort of thing and I’m now wondering where this has even stemmed from. I am thinking of telling him to delete Instagram because I have heard of some awful things being said. Do you think I should approach the school to tackle this issue too?

You should definitely screenshot any of these comments and tell the school!
