My DD (aged 10) watches these youtubers such as zoella and Caspar lee. Are these suitable for my DD?

I don't think YouTube is the best place for 10yos tbh unless you're watching with them, and I'm pretty relaxed. It's both the comments and the fact it's so easy to click on the wrong thing.

They're absolute fine. If they swear ist bleeped out and they never talk about anything explicit just funny things. Zoella especially is good and just does beauty and advice etc

From what DD tells me Zoella is appropriate for all ages and she does have her book. I'd be more wary of Caspar Lee however, as he does use sexual jokes a lot and has had a porn star in his video!!

Hi I have heard of Zoella as my 11 year old daughter watches her, she has also had books published. Like yourself this is all alien to me, however I do watch the videos and pretend to be interested.

Another way of keeping an eye on what she watches without being overbearing is that I will ask her questions about what she is watching and who they are .

Surely that's the best way to judge the suitability for your child.
