Tommee Tippee Anti-Colic Complete Feeding Kit?

Hiya, the Tommee Tippee Advanced Anti-Colic Complete Feeding Kit is half price on amazon at the minute but the reviews are terrible! I've been told by many that the tommee tippee bottles are the best, is this not true? If so, what brand is best?

thanks x

We didn’t get on with those bottles and neither did anyone that I know who had them (but that’s not to say your baby won’t). MAM bottles have been the best for us, but I know others swear by Dr Brown. You’ll probably have to buy a few different ones before you find the ‘right’ one, we ended up giving our tommy tippee ones away and buying a whole other set of MAM ones. It’s all dependant on the baby!

@Buttercup53 thanks very much for the info! I was tempted to get the bundle as it comes with the steriliser unit also but sounds like i would be better off just getting a few different sets of bottles from different brands? and getting a steriliser which will fit all bottles x

We have the tommee tippee anti colic bottles and have had no issue with them! My little one is 1 month old.

I still used bits from the set including the steriliser which I’ve had no problem with. If it helps, the steriliser can fit 4 mam anti colic bottles in it, plus a load of dummies, if you’re happy to play steriliser Tetris! Half price is a good deal, in your position I’d be tempted to still get it and see how your baby gets on, no bottle is 100% colic safe unfortunately.

Unfortunately there is no 'best' bottle only the best bottle for your baby.
For that reason splashing out on a big set of one type before baby is born may not be the best idea.
I would by one or two of different types and see which ones work for you. For us it was the Avent ones.

My DS didn’t get on with the tommee Tippee ones at all and I’d bought a big set reduced! Thoroughly recommend the MAM ones they are also self sterilising in the microwave with no separate steriliser needed so really handy and avoids needing another bit of kit!

We used tommee tippee colic bottles for our DD and they were great. Planning on doing the same for our next DC due in April. Never had any issue with them at all. Dr Brown bottles leak.

We’ve been using them for 8 months no issue. I ended up mix feeding mine though so I ended up getting 6 of the closer to nature ones just because it worked out cheaper to buy with teats as they are closer to a breast etc. Steriliser etc is fine with the bottles & the unit for warming milk / food so money well spent!
