How to hide from my sister who lives with me.

So I tested positive and my sister lives with us. We have been fasting together (avoiding meat /dairy - so mostly eating a veg diet).
I was wondering if you have any clever ideas on how to keep it from her till my 12 week scan?

The only problem is that I feel nauseous and extremely tired! I can barely keep my eyes open. I don't normally want much food but I also feel a bit ravenous - more than normal. I am worried she will start noticing and my sister isn't really good at keeping secrets.

How can I hide it from her or do I just tell her sooner?

Firstly congratulations! Can I ask why you would want to hide it from your sister? Are you close to each other? Personally I wouldn't hesitate to tell her, especially if you're already feeling tired and sick. You might really appreciate her support 😊

We are close but I haven't had a scan yet - last pregnancy things didn't go well. My sister cannot keep a secret. We don't want anyone to know yet.

Just say the diet is wiping you out....you aren't getting enough nutrients & you are tired??

Tbh I think it would be a nightmare to keep it from her, and also if the worst happened, hellish to live with someone who didn't know, so they couldn't give you support. Unless you have a very symptom free first trimester I think it would be very difficult ultimately and just not worth it.

Long baths with secret food stash in the bathroom cupboard.
Early nights with midnight feast stashed under the bed.
Ways and means!!
And congratulations!!
