Hi
Hope you can help.

Our DD is 2 and a half she’s doing so well with her potty training and will be dry until she sits on the potty to go each day but gets so upset when we mention knickers, only one day she has wanted to put them on. Being at home she’s not been wearing a nappy but not sure on how to get her to want to wear them without a mini meltdown! Xx

If she's wearing leggings/trousers then no need for pants if she doesn't want them.

I would say no to pull-ups though. Give her the choice 'big girl pants like mummy or just leggings'.

Just let her go commando, I wouldn't worry about it if she has leggings or trousers on.

@NuffSaidSam she will wear trousers/leggings.

We’ve got different characters knickers she would rather put them on her doll at the moment ;D

She keeps asking a times to wear pulls ups again if she does wear one it’s always dry during the day I just worry if she wears pull ups it’s going to put her back from how well she’s doing with the potty.

Leave it for now, but let her see you putting on pants. Narrate getting dressed in the morning. Normalise them without pressure.

Just leave them for now?

Will she wear trousers/leggings or does she want to be completely bottomless?

Maybe once she's back at nursery/pre-school you can try again and she might be tempted if the other big girls are wearing pants.

Have you for some with some sort of tempting character on the front Peppa/frozen etc?
