DD was potty trained at 18months.
she has all the signs of starting and caught on quickly without any real problems other than leaks (she's one to hold on until bursting and has a little leak before she told me she needs a wee)
At which point I was getting frustrated at changing small leaks and told her off for leaking.

since then(about 3 months ago) we have one step back after another.
I've since tried treats for every time she wees on the toilet, extra special treats for when she tells me she needs a wee before she wees in her pants and taking her to the toilet every 10 minutes and explaining she needs to tell me before she has a leak.

She totally understands that we wee and poo in the toilet and that she shouldn't go in her knickers and gets rather embarassed by pointing out if she has wee'd in her pants.
She has always point blank said no if asked if she needs the toilet, but used to tell me when she did need it.

We are now however, at the stage where she doesn't care that she has completely wet herself from the waist down or has a huge poo in her pants and carries on as normal, and screams and runs away when I tell her we need to go to the toilet and climbs off the toilet in tears unless I move the step stool away and she has no choice but to sit or fall off (while still screaming and crying) and wees. We do this for every single damn trip to the toilet. Knicker and trouser change at least 4 times a day if not more depending on if I've caught her before she just wees. When out and about she is better and doesn't make a fuss in the slightest and is more than happy to go to the toilet (although now doesn't tell me and I take her at certain times)

Any tips or advice?
At the end of my wits, and now that the DH has been home for xmas (no other change for DD and her routine is still the same with DH home) he finally understands what I've been telling him and is loosing his patience with her too.

We are having something similar, we were done and now there is a wee regression. My LO is also better out than at home. As am in same boat dont have much advice but I do find potty books helpful, there is improvement after reading them.

I would put her in pull-ups , nappies night he too much for her to go back to. Take the pressure off , stop talking about it to her etc . Just remove all the pressure . It has become a giant battle ground and to be honest it sounds like your entire life revolves around the her using the toilet.

For what it’s worth it’s sounds as if she only knew she was going when she started to leak , she doesn’t have advance warning . By constantly putting her on the loo you were preventing accidents but she can’t do it alone ,

Also at this age there are so many exciting and interesting things to be discovering . Potty training is boring . Let her do fun things and spend quality time enjoying her rather than obsessing about being out of nappies and try again in the summer .
