I put bubbles and toys in and she just doesn't want to know ... I NEED ADVICE ... what can I do to help her overcome something that's happened ? if anything has happened ? now to get herself out of the bath the minuet you put her in she'll do her hardest to poo! so naturally I pull her out ... she gets away with not having one ... WHAT CAN I DO ? I have thought about potty training but every time we try she just looks away :( .. please help ..

Hi there - I'm in a similar situation. Last month my 22 month old pooped in the bath and got extremely upset about it. Since then she is terrified of the bath. We have tried lots of things - getting in the bath myself, new toys including a nifty mirror, lots of encouragement etc. When we do manage to get her in the bath she keeps saying 'poo poo bath' and looking for it, like its still there. We were on holiday last week and she refused to go swimming in the pool too :(. We have decided to stop baths for a while and just go a sponge bath instead, and hopefully she will be happy to get back in after a week or so. We are also starting potty training as she is having some anxiety over pooping at all and I think it's time to give her some more control over the whole process, I think/hope it will help! Good luck.

Has your SD got any toys she can wash in the bath ie bathing the babies (dolls) etc? My DS was a bath refuser but now takes his trains in with him to "wash"
