Ds is being tt for over a month now, it is going quite slowly,

He is great at home, dry at naps, telling me dh and babysitter

At nursery he was initally using potty but is now refusing to either go or even sit on a potty for them, he tries to hold on until nap time, sometimes has an accident, otherwise goes in his nappy during his nap,

Nursery are now putting him back in nappies, I am devastated

Tonight when I collected him he was in nappy, I asked if he needed potty and he said no, we went home and as soon as we got in je started demanding to use potty, despite still being nappy from creche,

so basically he is able to hold, knows when he needs to go, communicates with family but refuses point black to use potty in nursery,

What do I do? I have tried giving nursery bribes in the form of sweets, promised ice cream, nursery are at a loss and are now at end of teither hence putting him back in nappies full time,

It's not the end of the world. I cared for a child who had to be put back in nappies at mine for a couple of months and was then absolutely fine. Just make sure nursery are communicating well with you and completely on board with giving him positive messages about using the toilet. It could be a simple anxiety and maybe another child being able to see, or having to queue, or something. This should definitely not go on for long.
