4 weeks in, pre school starts tomorrow, not asking to go and still pooing pants.

DS2 is 3.1. After many failed attempts at potty training and thanks to some great advice from a lovely mumsnetter, we had success getting him to wee on the toilet soon after his third birthday. He hasn't wet himself for ages, his nap time and bed time pull ups are dry but he never asks to go for a wee. When DH and I both thought the other had taken his pull up off after napping he just wee'd in it like a nappy.
He also never wants to poo on the toilet. He goes and hides to poo, if we see him we take him to the toilet and he goes there fine. However with 4 DC it is hard to watch him all the time to notice this.
When he goes for a wee he leaps off the toilet almost before he's finished, he always says "no poo" if You ask while he is weeing.
He starts early entitlement tomorrow, is very excited to go. I spoke to them about the situation, they said to put him in a pull up but I feel that will set him back with the weeing.
I hate the feeling of being on poo alert until he has been.
Any advice?

Thanks for the reply. He gets a square or two of chocolate and a sticker if he poos on the toilet.
He is quite immune to bribery though he will say he doesn't like the bribe in order to not do the task required. Even if he really loves whatever it is!

Not sure whether this is helpful but I went with bribery when it came to poos. Wee's were fine but DD seemed a bit scared of doing a poo in the potty so she got a chocolate button (or maybe two - I can't remember now) when she did one. And then when we moved onto the toilet she just got one if she did a poo in the toilet (as oppose to the potty).
