My DD is 23 months and I'm thinking of potty training her... While its still relatively okay weather and house not too cold to run around naked in.

How do I know if she is ready?

The normal signs are things such as:
An interest in the potty and toilet
An ability to communicate such needs
A reasonable dry gap between wees
Hiding when doing a poo, as this shows self awareness in such areas

Does she show any of these signs?

Of course, she doesn't need to be naked, but being bottomless does help many children in the beginning. She can wear a top to help keep her warm.

My dd has been interested in the loo and what's happening for weeks. In fact has a tantrum because i wont let her wipe my bottom. Grin She takes herself off behind the curtain whilst having a poo and says oh oh if she has a wee when naked for the bath. She is only 16 months though. Surely that is too young to start potty training.
