Anyone been through this with their little ones? Have just had ours move to urgent for 8 month olds eczema.

I've honestly lost all faith a bit with GPs and the NHS. We have been around in circles with trying to get help for him.

I need some hope they may actually help. I know they are experts and GPS are not but I need to hear some success stories if anyone has them ❤️

Keep the faith. We went through this at a similar age and things got under much better control. This was years ago now and skin is pretty perfect apart from very occasional slight flare up. Milk allergy was a part of it for us too but this has been outgrown now. Good luck and keep going!

Another with a similar experience. My DSis had horrible eczema, even on her eyelids. Once dairy was cut out it disappeared within a couple of weeks.

Have a read of this from Allergy UK and see if any of the symptoms sound familiar.

I had horrible eczema for 20 years which started when I was a baby. My mum tried everything: specialists appointments, steroid creams... the works. But this was in the 90s... so it was just steroid cream after steroid cream instead of looking for the cause. It only started getting better in my 20s when I cut out dairy. The same thing is now happening with my niece and nephew with allergens and intolerances.

My advice? Try and see an allergist alongside the dermatologist.
