Shampoo recommendations for toddler

Hi all,

DS is 21 months old and has fine, fairly long hair (takes after me!). We currently have to wash his hair every night as he has a lovely habit of smearing his food-covered hands in his hair at mealtimes 😑 however, his hair looks greasy again by mid-afternoon the following day (even if he's not been smushing food into his hair earlier that day!). Does anyone have any recommendations for toddler-friendly shampoos that might help combat this? We currently use Tesco baby shampoo but have tried Dove and Burts Bees Baby too.

Thank you!

My daughter has fine hair and we use Child's Farm shampoo and conditioner without any greasiness. I forgot to use the conditioner one day and the baby's hair was really fluffy the next day! So I'd give it a go with just the shampoo.

We use Aveenu Baby body wash/shampoo all in one stuff and hadn't even considered using a conditioner.

It's a bit pricey but lasts ages and it's sometimes on offer in Boots or Morrison's. Great on sensitive skin too.

I expect you've tried it already, but the classic Johnson's shampoo makes my DD's hair (also fine and very curly) quite dry. I've actually taken to using conditioner! Could help if your little one's hair is oily?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! @Mybobowler we have tried Johnson's in the past but not recently so might be worth another go, thank you!

We used L'oreal kids conditioning shampoo. They do various ones, but the one that includes conditioner is in an orange bottle (and smells fantastic!)

Dd has a sensitive scalp so I use aveeno all in one then dab aveeno lotion onto her scalp while it's still damp then a drop of argan oil on the ends to prevent tangles.

Also fine hair here, and we use green people organic baby scent less shampoo. It's good!
