12th pregnancy and spotting

So I’m currently on my 12th pregnancy with no live births. I should be 4W5D and I’ve started spotting. I’ve taken an additional FRER this afternoon after a 2 hour hold and it’s still positive but not as dark as I would have though. CBD shows 1-2 weeks. I’m on 400mg cyclogest twice a day. Has anyone got any positive stories? This is the same scenario as all my MC have started. EPAU won’t see you until 6 weeks.

It’s good the TSH level is ok, not good in the sense though that you probably wish there was an explanation for it all.
immune investigations are a good idea I really hope you can identify the problem and get if treated and good luck OP

Yeah I've had all the tests available via the NHS. I'm looking into going private now to investigate immune issues with a hope that I get some answers xx

Please tell me you have more of a plan from the consultant than just 'wait and see', given your history? Surely they've done extensive tests? Are you on steroids? Clexane? I went private after two recurrent miscarriages and was prescribed progesterone, aspirin, clexane, steroids and high dose folic acid from BFP onwards. Are you under the care of a recurrent miscarriage specialist like Professor Quenby? I believe that you can self-refer to some recurrent miscarriage specialist centres?

Thanks for your message. Yeah I'm under Professor Quenby for recurrent miscarriages. All tests have come back fine. I have progesterone from day 21 onwards etc. I've tried steroids on two rounds on ivf - both resulted in MC. Plan is to add in for the next round of IVF, but I did think today to ask for steroids for natural pregnancies too.

Quenby is at a bit of a loss as to what is causing it, I do have some medication to try ahead of IVF for three months - sitigliptan.

My consultant says I've just got to wait and see.

Thank you. I've actually added low dose aspirin once I had my BFP to give it a go. There's nothing medically wrong with either of us, they just say it's one of those things.

I'll see what the next few days hold. I'm trying to be optimistic.

Sorry to hear about the spotting. I'd say there's definitely still hope at this point...do you have a consultant you could get in touch with to ask for advice? Maybe they'd suggest low-dose aspirin or something, but with your history I'm sure you've gone through all possible options already.
I think you're amazing to go through so much and still persevere, I really hope this is the pregnancy which brings your rainbow baby ❤
