Recurrent misscarrige x 5 possible causes? Any advice ?

Basically I had 5 recurrent misscarrige in a row , no children , all happening at 5-6 weeks no more than that . Doctors seems to thinks it’s chromosome issue , I am 25, is this possible 5 times in a row being chromosome issue ? All blood testing was fine and uterus scan showed heart shape uterus but doctor was happy with that . Any ideas ? Thanks

Can you be referred to a miscarriage expert?
I used low dose aspirin and high dose folic acid, prescribed by my obstetrician.

I researched my problems, low progesterone and multiple miscarriages and took agnus castus, a herbal tincture, I've subsequently had two
Children - I'd ask for a referral though amd did the hospital test for chromosomal or any other abnormality?

Look up Prof Siobhan Quenby and Prof Jan Brosens’ recurrent miscarriage clinic. You can self-refer. You may be hyperfertile (i.e. you get pregnant too easily with non-viable foetuses) - there are things they can do to help your body be choosier about getting pregnant, which hopefully makes the good ones more likely to stick.

Have you been offered a full karyotype? I had 6 miscarriages before my daughter, all lost before 7 weeks. After my fourth miscarriage we found out that I carry a genetic abnormality called a balanced translocation which means that my chance of miscarriage is 50% and we were quite unlucky. I've read that 1-3% of recurrent miscarriage sufferers have this issue, so it's not common but might be worth investigating? A full karyotype is a simple blood test that both myself and my husband had as part of our investigations.

Having so many miscarriages with no known cause is really tough. Be easy on yourself and I hope you get some answers soon.

I never got any answers for my multiple miscarriages.
I attended miscarriage clinic and spoke to experts who had my on all kinds. Aspirin, hormone injections, high dose folic acid, i dieted, i cut out alcohol, caffeine, you name it.
Blood tests all normal, dh sperm count blah blah blah all normal.
I still miscarried. But much worse, more painful, very heavy blood loss (aspirin!)
In the end they told me that they had no answers. In fact they had no answers or cause for over 80% of women. They just don’t know.
I was told possibly chromosomal, probably poor egg quality, my age, just one of those things, bad luck…..all of the above.
So I was discharged from there.
Anyway, I did go on to have a successful pregnancy with no treatment, no help and a huge bloody surprise after continuously miscarrying for 10 years!
Prepare yourself that you may never get any answers. But good luck for the future.
