Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

Pregnant again- terrified

So I have a daughter (15 months old) and since August 2019 we have had 3 miscarriages, with the last one being in February at nearly 12 weeks pregnant

We were referred to the miscarriage clinic for testing back in February but are yet to hear any news on this referral and have been told that because of coronavirus the clinic is on hold (which I understand)

So we decided to try again and first month trying we have ended up pregnant, im 17 dpo today and a total POAS addict 🤦‍♀️

I'm so worried its going to end in a miscarriage, I know nothing can be done and testing lots doesnt change that but I like seeing the lines getting darker, but I'll have to stop soon because they will stop also...

My closest early pregnancy unit are not doing early scans atm so I dont even have that this time round 🤦‍♀️

Sorry for the long post, I just needed to get it out!
Here's my tests I've been doing

I’m sorry for you losses. I’m in the same boat although have only had one mmc found at the 12 week scan. I’m pregnant again and did my 12 week scan this Friday but am so worried that the same will happen. We had an early scan both times this one at 9 weeks and everything was fine but I can’t shake the feeling of dread. It’s such a horrible place to be. I have everything crossed that this time it works out for you x

@Char2020 its so hard to be excited when youve experienced that, all I keep thinking is, I will start bleeding soon 🤦‍♀️ or worrying over having a day of no symptoms

I had a few days of my symptoms vanishing and was panicking but they came back twice as bad. People keep telling me to take something for the heart burn but I won’t, if I can feel it then surely things must be ok, I’d rather be in pain and deal with it then have no symptoms. It’s awful worrying all the time and I too am struggling to be excited about it at the moment

Congrats! A viability scan isn't advised till 7-8 weeks, so by that time next month, the EPU might well be doing scans. Otherwise, are there any private clinics near you?

I had my 3rd loss last weekend, despite a positive scan at 7 weeks, and have also now been referred to the recurrent MC clinic. No idea when that will be though.

Depending on your age and BMI, it might be recommend to take 5mg of folic acid, not just the regular 400mcg. For other things like progesterone suppositories and aspirin, you should really have tests to see if you really need them, and if they'd be of any benefit. best of luck x

@Elouera thank you and I'm sorry for your loss! Thats what happened to me in January, we had seen heartbeat at 8 weeks and at 10 an half weeks there was no heartbeat and baby had died at 9 weeks and 4 days

I am hoping in the next few weeks rhey will be doing scans again! 🤞

Unfortunately my doctors and midwives are being difficult despite being prescribed the higher folic acid in the past 🤦‍♀️

OP- you can buy 5mg folic acid online without a script!
