Miscarrying

So sad, miscarrying a longed for baby.

I'm 43, this will be my 4th loss. I had two, then my wonderful daughter, a loss, almost a year to conceive again, and now this loss.

I made it to 10 weeks but have had bleeding at 7 weeks and most of last week. Just now heavy fresh blood, the final stage of my other losses.

This was my last chance, I'm too old, my losses and failure to conceive are due to my age. I'm heartbroken, didn't tell family or friends as I couldn't dare to dream it would be real.

I'm going to sit in the son with my treasured daughter.

Thank you for asking @DaisyChainsForever it's really kind of you.

I did call the EPU who squeezed me in for a scan, sadly it confirmed a missed miscarriage, the baby stopped developing three weeks ago.
It's better to know, to process and deal rather than keep hoping

Thank you @DaisyChainsForever for your kind words. I have rung them, they said to call on Tuesday but I'm going to check in tomorrow, if I've not had a massive bleed by then

Im so sorry Have you been bleeding constantly for those 3 weeks? I know you say u've been through it before, but might be worth ringing your EPU in the morning to talk to someone. Even if there's nothing medical that needs to be done they can offer a counselling service if you need it. x
