Blighted ovum miscarriage

Hello all.
After an early private scan at 7/6 I was told I had a blighted ovum. Went to nhs at 9/1 and told the same thing and to go back in a week and then I could decide on my options. Un/fortunately my body went down the natural route. On Saturday (9/2) I started spotting. Sunday evening I passed the mucus plug but otherwise there had been very little blood- daily only enough for one regular pad (though obv changed for freshness).

Been cramping up a storm though which I can feel through the pain killers and heat pads. It is worse in the late afternoon/evening.

Otherwise generally tired, emotional and in discomfort.

All the stories I have read have evolved gushing and clots. Is this yet to come? Or unlikely as it was only developed to five weeks? I just want to hear of anyone has had a similar experience particularly with a blighted ovum and how much longer it is likely to last. Read one story of a similar experience and it turned out there was tissue blocking the curvix. I am sure this is rare though so please reassure me! X

I had tissue blocking the cervix but I only knew because the bleeding was exceptionally heavy, like I'd cut myself badly. You'll know it's not right if it's that.

Some women find it like a heavy period whereas others have more bleeding and clots.

I hope it happens soon so you're out of limbo
