Really super worried I might have ashermans Sad

Had an ERPC 4 weeks ago last Friday, period tracker said period should have come yesterday but no sign yet.

I have had small twinges since Friday - not sure if these are thr period pains without period symptoms to watch out for or if my period is on its way.

How long did yours take to come? I'm going to see if I can get a 3d scan next week which I think can detect ashermans without the hysteroscopy.

Just so so worried I might not be able to conceive again Sad

Hi all,
Not sure if people are still reading this post. I had an ERPC on 1st Dec 16, had very little bleeding from it. Had a very light (2 days, brown) period on 13th Jan then another very light brown period on 7th feb for 2 days. I get PMS worse than ever (extreme fatigue, cramps etc) and convince myself I'm pregnant every time but still BFN! I'm just so frustrated now as I want a 'normal' period like I used to get before the ERPC. I'm so scared after reading things this morning that I have Ashermans Syndrome. I get really bad period cramps but no proper bleeding or red blood? Any ideas? I have been using OPKs and am ovulating each month. Thank you and love to you all 💐 Xxx

SO much relief hep and yes it is a big one!! Have being going through a pad every 2 hrs (checked with nurse and she is fine with this)

I do think that drinking raspberry keaf tea this week and taking oil of evening primrose capsules has really helped speed things up. Never been so bloody happy to get my period!!

mulder

no idea !

this is good news though, your body is recovering and should get back to normal soon. Just be warned, my first proper period post MC was MUCH heavier than normal ! so just make sure you have good "supplies" with you !

I remember feeling so much relief when my first AF post MC arrived.

I had two in 12 months in 2015, the first one I had a period about 4/5 weeks later, the second took about 7/8 weeks.

Try not to worry, if you're not having spotting and have had a negative test it'll hopefully be here soon.

Flowers for you, its a horrible time when all you want is to get back to 'normal'.

Mulderits I think any think upto 10 weeks is "normal". I remember this limbo/waiting period. It really isn't fun. I was desperate to just know everything was "working properly again".

Flowers

small twinges and cramps are a good sign.

Mine didn't come for 4 months. I too was convinced it was Ashermans (or onset of menopause). I was given a dose of tablets (similar to the pill) and had a withdrawal bleed. The periods then kickstarted the following month. Apparently some hormone levels can go out of kilter and Merv re/booting, hugs for the ERPC. I've had 2 and it's a tough time x

I had an erpc for a missed miscarriage & then my period came on 4 weeks afterwards. Then i got pregnant again & miscarried naturally. The next period was again 4 weeks later.

Not sure if this helps but I had a natural miscarriage early January and I got my period 24 days later. It was quite a normal period apart from having spotting for about 3 days afterwards which I don't normally. Hope things all settle down for you soon.

I had my missed miscarriage removed surgically several years ago, is that an erpc? I seem to recall that the first 'period' came around the normal time, but was only very red blood, and it stopped and started (there was no 'older' blood to lose, which i think is why it stopped and started). The second period was back to normal approx 8 weeks after the procedure.

I had two miscsrriages last year, one medical and one erpc. Both times it took around 8 weeks for a proper period. I had some light bleeds/ spotting in between that i hoped might be it but they weren't.

I understand the anxiety as you have no idea when it will come, you have my sympathy.

I am now 17 weeks pg after being convinced i wouldnt manage it naturally so don't lose hope.
