Hey all has anyone been on Clomid I’ve read so many different reviews on it me and my hubby have been trying for nearly 4 years and one baby sleeping and 13 miscarriages later I’m desperate for my happy ever after my cycles are so long and if I ovulate I ovulate late the doc said this is why I’m miscarrying because the eggs are not as good and I have a bad hormone imbalance which I’m on meds for but I am on cycle day 6 so the doctor has told me to start Clomid cd 7-11 isn’t this rather late everything I’ve read had been 2-5 3-6 not this late but I'm desperate to start I don't want to wait another cycle as my cycles are so irregular my last cycle was 107 days

Thank you for your reply babe I’m so sorry for your losses it’s so tough I asked my doc he said it was so I didn’t miss this cycle because I was already on day 5 but I said I waited this long I’ll wait for my next cycle if it ever comes I’m hoping the Provera will help there but it didn’t last time I took it. Everything I’ve read has been like you said earlier than day 7. Did you have many side effects from the Clomid? I’ve read some horrific story’s. Xxxx

Hi Bella. So sorry for all your losses. I've been on Clomid for quite a few cycles. I got pregnant on 2 separate occasions with it but sadly miscarried. Also had a further 2 losses early on. After not conceiving for over 12 months now we're back on it. I was advised to take it day 2 - 6. Either that or days 5 - 9 (I've also heard 3 - 7 is fine too). If I'm honest, I haven't known anyone take it as late as day 7. I'm not medical though! Not sure if anyone else has taken it that late on here? Sorry I can't give you better advice. I would probably ask for a 2nd opinion. Baby dust to you Smile
