Anyone starting or on a cycle?

Currently on my 2ww but my Dec/Jan thread has dried up. Need some buddies!

Morning all,
I'm doing as okay as can be expected...still bleeding and bled all weekend really heavily. I called the clinic and you might have seen my question on another thread, as I've been told I need a scan and blood test to test my progesterone levels. All pointless in my opinion...but nevermind.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Oh no I'm sorry PC. How are you doing now? I hope it has slowed.

blackcherries can you email your clinic to ask? I would take another dose but best to check if you can.

Tiny, I don't think there's a lot of point. I spoke to the clinic this morning and they gave me a glimmer of hope that the bleeding might stop with the extra progesterone, but I'm having the worst bleed I think I've ever had...I've never known anything so heavy and my AFs are normally heavy. I guess that's the clexane. I have to call the clinic again on Monday...and I guess I'll do what I was told til then, but there's no way this is going to a positive ending.

Blackcherries - I'm afraid I did a short protocol...so not sure. My gut instinct would be to take another dose tomorrow and not skip. You're not 100% sure you took two doses, so better extra than too little in my opinion...but I'm no medical expert.

Sorry to slightly derail but I'm on my first day of buseralin nasal spray and not being used to taking nasal sprays I think I took two doses instead of one! Should I just continue as normal or skip a dose?

PC I just re-read your earlier posts - you had 3 blasts put back in? I am sure that the chance that none have taken only add to your heartbreak even more. Did the clinic offer a reason as to why you might be bleeding other than of course the worst case scenario?

Oh PC I am very sorry to hear this. What an absolute let down from your body but try not to punish yourself. Do you think you will push on through till OTD with the cyclogest?

Lemon, I'm sorry and I totally am feeling your pain today. Sad

Yesterday I had what I foolishly thought was a little implantation bleed...just a bit of brown spotting. Overnight I just started full on bleeding and it's only got heavier today. I'm only 5DPT of a 5DT today and wasn't even due to test til Thursday. Phoned the clinic and they've told me stop the clexane injections and up my cyclogest to 4 a day in an effort to stop the bleeding. But at this point I feel pretty hopeless. Wondering now if I can face another cycle or if we should try for adoption. Ah well...infertility is a b*tch.

Hope everyone else is doing okay.

So sorry Lemon. It never gets easier. Flowers

So I've confirmed with the doctor and he is fine for me to take a month off. I had a scratch done last month, so any effectiveness of that will be gone, but I've had it a few times with no luck, so I'm not going to worry.

The plan is to do an IVF lite style cycle. 1-2 injections a day of around 75 or 150 menopur, as well as progynova and presumably something to stop ovulation. Oh, and progresterone... that's a lot of meds!

I'm taking baby aspirin each day, and trying to get up the energy to do acupucture, but I'm not sure I can be bothered!

Really sorry Lemon. I've convinced myself in the past that I must be pg only to see BFNs and i know it must be so much worse after ivf. I'm going to be a total basket case for those 2 weeks.

I'm sorry Lemon 😞😞 I've been there. I know that feeling of hopelessness and anger. Will you get your blood test results back same day (today)?

You know you're making the right decision kmmr. Just feels like our lives are a series of waiting till the next month! Look in to neupogen wash treatment as it may help to thicken the lining next time around.

Thanks guys. AF hasn't arrived so took HPT this morning and BFN. But still have to go in for the blood test today which is annoying. I really don't want to be told the bad news over the phone. Which is silly as I already know it! Feeling quite down - trying to think of something to cheer myself up but it's not going very well.

Hope you're all ok. kmmr glad you're feeling a bit better.

Lemon thinking of you. I think you can get any symptom in early pregnancy and it could be AF or that embryo nestling in. So please keep up hope.

I'm dropping in as AF has arrived (not exactly a surprise, I've had neither an embryo transferred nor sex this month) and I'm trying to decide what to do. I could start the drugs again with a few extras thrown in to improve lining, or... take a month off.

I've been feeling so much better this week. After the disappointment of cancelling over the weekend, I've cheered up. Stopping the progynova seems to help the most - that stuff makes me an angry crazy woman! Plus I have a weekend away locally, and a weekend in HK on the 1st of March.

I guess I know the right answer. Just another month of waiting!

Hi everyone,

Blackcherries - My first IVF cycle was May last year...I didn't have a great experience with my clinic and wasn't sure I could cope with doing another one...hence the wait.

Findingmyfeet - I think the number of transfers is a bit dependant on the clinic and also on your age. As I'm older, my eggs are more likely to have abnormalities, so I think the rules are more relaxed. I had two 3day embryos transferred first cycle...but that was all I had. And three this time...

Lemon - I agree with everyone else...AF and PG symptoms are so similar, you can't tell.

So, I'm spending lots of the my time trying to symptom spot even though the transfer was only Monday. To be honest, I feel nothing...so not feeling hopeful. But I'm also not sure I should be feeling anything yet, but it's hard not to do it anyway. Smile

The one time I was pregnant I felt as though af was on its way. I only tested because I had all the signs of af and it didn't appear. Hang in there Lemon.

Lemon, remember that pre period feeling is exactly the same as early pregnancy symptoms! (So I'm told)

I'll wait until AF comes I think. Hopefully that will be before I go in for the blood test so we don't have to go.

Oh no Lemon Sad are you sure? Maybe test this morning if you're anxious?

How's everyone doing? Welcome PC.

My OTD is Friday but I feel like AF is imminent so I don't think I will make it that far. Sad

Hi Petite, good luck, fingers crossed. Is it usual to have three transferred?

I'm hoping to have a FET next month and I'd like two transferred. I worried my hospital won't agree to it though.
