Fertility treatment and exercise

Forgive me if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where to ask!

I'm desperate to start exercising as I currently do absolutely nothing even remotely physically, and I feel it would do wonders for de stressing and general mental well being, as well as toning up my jiggly body!

I'm due to start fertility treatment in January though, would joining the gym be a ridiculous thing to do at this point in time?

I've read online that beginning exercise when you're pregnant is a big no no, and I know I'm probably not going to get pregnant for a while if ever, it's just something that's on my mind and i wouldn't want to jeopardise anything IYSWIM.

Any advice for my late night rambling would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Biscuits, I was told by my fertility clinic that I was fine doing all of the exercise that I was doing at the time...she didn't say I should stop or anything. Unfortunately, injuries made me stop but I plan to go back to the gym and get into a routine again before my treatment starts. I've also (stupidly!) signed up for a 10k in May! Hopefully it will keep me motivated and occupied! Will be hilarious if I am up duffer by then!

There is no reason not to start exercising. You may start to feel better which is what you need when fertility treatment makes you feel like crap.
Also exercise is not forbidden to start exercising. Unless you plan on doing an Antarctic crossing or MMA fighting.
Also, the most important piece of advice I can give is to not put your life on hold. I didn't book cruise tickets for a friends 50th because I may have been pregnant (I was mid way through a cycle). Well I'm not pregnant and I'm not going on the cruise.
