Just fed up

Just that really, i'm fed up. Been out to town today and the shops are filled with beautiful baby and toddler clothes. I so want to be buying them again. Also just had a clear out in my outhouse and bagged up some baby and toddler toys for charity. I'd been hanging onto them for ages in case i had another baby. I know now i will never have another and it makes me so sad. To see that BFP would make me the happiest girl in the world.

My children are 7, 8, 11 and 14. How about yours ? I'm the same as you, i should enjoy a bit of free time now they are all at school but i get so bored some days! I don't work so i have lots of time on my hands. Don't see my friends all that often as they go out to work, most of them only have 1 or 2 kids. Oh, i bet you are dreading it when your youngest goes to school, i hated it. The past couple of years i have got really broody, i'm trying really hard but i can't shake the feeling! Just want to be pregnant again, give birth, and smell that lovely newborn smell! Let me know how you go with your blood results. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they come back normal xx

I'm finding out if I've started the menopause later today lovely.

We keep ending up on all the same threads!

Either way, DH is dead set against anymore, so I'm looking onward and upwards and putting things in place so that I'm not spending hours on mn on my days off twiddling my thumbs when my youngest starts school in September.

I'm mad, I should enjoy some me time and put my feet up, but I'd just be bored.

How old are your 4DCs?

Hopefully your bloods come back non-menopausal. Also, i hope you achieve your goal in getting the career that you would like. I'm not feeling too bad this evening. It's like one minute i want ababy and the next i'm not so sure. All part of my menopausal mood swings i expect! Just had anice long chat with my oldest friend, she is thinking of fostering babies. Might be something i could consider doing perhaps...

Mmmm, baby clothes are to be avoided at all costs, here, too!

I'm waiting for my blood test results to see if I've started the menopause, too.

No more babies for me, though as I've said, there are times when I'm exceptionally broody.

I've been working part time for the past couple of years, have recently gone back to college and am going to concentrate on the career I always intended to have, but never got around to achieving.

That will hopefully keep my mind off babies!

Hope these feelings soon pass x

I am in menopause yes. I always used to get very broody just before period time a few years ago but now i'm finding it's happening at random times of the month. I guess it's my body telling me that my fertility is fast running out, that's what my Mum says anyway. It must be a biological thing that kicks in when we start to loose our fertility. I will be ok i guess, just must not look at baby clothes!

Have I read that you are in the menopause on another thread, Lovely? Is that why you're sure you won't have a bfp, or am I mixing you up with someone else?

I was really very broody the other day, but it's cyclical thing with me, and ties in with my fertile times of the month, then goes away again sure as the bears shit in the woods!

I still fall for it hook line and sinker every month without fail, though!

Do you think it's the same with you, or is it always there?
