Somewhere hot for February half term?

Want to book a week away for half term and get away to some sun, would the canaries be hot enough then? Egypt is a possibility but would need a recommendation for a resort and hotel as we are quite fussy about where we stay! one 15 and 11 year old it tow,

Thanks!

Well we flew back yesterday from the Holiday village red sea and we had a lovely time - i was very pleasantly surprised in fact. The holtel is large but service is very good and food at all restaurants is varied and plentiful. Entertainment is good (especially for kids) and there is loads to keep you occupied if you wish. Weather was 27-28 degrees and i came home with a fantasic tan. It hasn't rained in sharm for over 7 years i was told so no worries about the weather.

Any quetions just ask.

Hi would be interested in your holiday review of the Holiday village in Egypt - probably looking at no more than 5 hours max flying time otherwise we would go to Florida, don't really want long haul for just one week

Did Lanzarote for the first time this Easter - Playa Blanca was extremely quiet and had lovely beaches, not sure if we would go back next year as would like to try somewhere different,

The holiday village in Egypt gets good reviews and is tailored for families. I am off there on Sunday for Xmas and new year so will report back when i return.

We've been away quite a bit in the winter months and as the canaries have never appealed to us we have always chosen to fly long haul to get guaranteed sun to places such as the Caribbean, the maldives etc. However with a 2 yr old DD now in tow we decided to cut down the flight time a bit and chose Egypt, however the cape verde islands came very close (and the weather is hotter there than in Egypt in the Winter (and still only 5-6 hrs flying).

Do you have any prefernces over flying times etc?

Tobago gets my vote (if you can get a flight!)
