Anyone been to Mauritius with teens? Would you recommend it for a holiday ?

Depending on the time may determine which side of the island to stay on. The trade winds affect the east coast during our summer making it very windy while the west coast is more sheltered.

We went in April with 15 yr old DS. We picked a resort hotel ,Long Beach with a variety of water & sports activities - tennis, gym, snorkeling, kayaking etc. The hotel had a teens centre where they could hang out in the evenings with table tennis and pool organised by the sports team. We did a couple if day trips out of the resort, catamaran, dolphin watching and one to the national park. I would certainly return.

Went with teen nieces/nephews. They loved it. We were at a hotel. Hotels usually have lots of activities. Apart from the obvious swimming in sea and pool there’s sailing, water skiing, paddle boarding, tennis in the afternoons.
