First holiday with almost three year old - what do I need?

Booked Greece all inclusive for this summer with my will-be almost three year old at time of travel.
Never done abroad before as single mum.
Doing all inclusive hotel so don't need to worry about catering.
What sort of things aside from the obvious clothes and swimsuits do I need?
I was thinking small first aid kit, Calpol and groblind in case the room isn't dark enough? What else would you recommend?

Use swim nappies unless you're absolutely confident they won't poo in the pool. DD potty trained at 2.5 but I used swim nappies until she was about 3 I think. If poo gets in the pool it's a big deal and the pool will have to be closed to be cleaned. The thought of that always made me err on the side of caution!
Take some bedtime story books if that’s what you have at home. I think it helps to make the bedtime routine as familiar as possible.

Not the most popular answer but an iPad or some downloaded cartoons on your phone.
I'd still take a small buggy at that age if you can navigate this through the airport
The 'usual' bedtime things - so the same book / teddy's etc
A nightlight can be so handy as these hotel rooms tend to be so so dark at night!!
Cool bag / Tupperware so you can stash some cold fruits and biscuits etc so you can snack at pool or in hotel room if baby wakes very early before breakfast starts
Sun cream / hats / shoes for around the pool - the Non slip 'sock' ones are brilliant
Kindle / iPad for you with headphones so you can chill in the same room once they've gone to sleep
More plane snacks than you can imagine possible

Take one of those teeny tiny 2 ring inflatable paddling pools (usually around £5 from tesco etc) to have next to your sun-bed, you can put a few buckets of pool water in it and your dc can sit in it and play in the shade whilst you sit down!

sun cream

favourite cuddly toy or comforter which you take in handluggage
some favourite books and one or. two new ones.
DD loved some Playmobil/HappyLand figures to. play with
Does he like card games like snap or. similar?
Crayons. and a pad of paper

Tablet with some TV or movies downloaded

I always took some new magazine/book with me and left it in the suitcase for the flight back. English magazines are very expensive abroad and it meantthe flight back had something new for DD to entertain herself.

How exciting, which part of Greece are you going to? i am going to Kos in two weeks for 1 week AI, very much looking forward to it.

I would suggest a favourite cuddly toy, a few books, snacks for the plane, a small first aid kit, sunscreen, sun hat, insect repellent, arm bands and pool floats.

Some toys and books, kid-friendly sunscreen first things off the top of my head. Can consider child sunglasses. Water toys for the pool maybe? Thermometer potentially. Some jumpers in case of unexpectedly cold spell/air conditioning.
