Boosted but will expire before holiday

I had all three vaccines quite early for my age due to my job. My third dose (booster) was done in September last year and I will not be entitled to another one with the current spring booster programme.

Predicament is that by the time August comes round I'll be well past the 270 day rule and now I have no idea how to fix it. I'm wondering if I'll have to pay for a dose? (Happy to but not an option currently)

Anybody else finding this? I can't see any guidance for this but presume it's a relatively new issue due to the fact lots of people are only just getting their third booster.

I can't imagine that there won't be a solution for this as lots of people will find their booster has worn off over the summer months (in terms of the 270 day guidance)

This is the actual wording of the rule
Travelers aged 18 and over are considered fully vaccinated only if a period of 270 days (9 months) has not elapsed, after administration of the 2nd dose of a two-dose vaccine or the 1st dose of a single-dose vaccine. Otherwise, they should have received the booster/3rd dose in the case of a two-dose vaccine or the booster/2nd dose in the case of a single dose vaccine. Travelers aged under 18 are considered to have completed their vaccination scheme if they have received the 2nd dose in the case of a two-dose vaccine or the 1st dose in the case of a single-dose vaccine (in the latter case, two weeks must have elapsed from administration of the vaccine).

As long as your 2nd dose was less than 270 days ago, or you have had your booster you are fully vaccinated and can enter. If it doesn't mention expiry of the booster (which it doesn't) then that means there isn't one (as if there was one, they'd have to tell people about it)

Worst case scenario, you can just do tests. You can go to Cyprus unvaccinated. You need a PCR within 48 hrs or antigen test within 24 hrs of your flight and then a PCR when you arrive at the airport in Cyprus, which is €19. The results are texted to you in around 3 hours.

Going to Cyprus. I can't see anything that explicitly says Booster lasts forever etc but if it were open to interpretation it could look like the 270 days only applied to the 2 doses

Just want something that says yes or no either way!

My understanding was that the 270 days thing was only relevant if you had NOT had a booster. If you have had the two jabs plus a booster then you are good to go - at least to Portugal, I looked this up earlier today

I've just checked Spain and it's the same - 270 day expiry only applies if you've not had the booster. It also specifically says there is currently no expiry date on the booster.

What country are you gong to and what 270 day rule is this? I know for France for example if it had been longer than a certain period (4 months from memory) since does 2 you're not considered fully vaccinated and need to get a booster. But once you've had the booster there's no time frame after which you become not fully vaccinated again.

I didn't think there was an expiry on the booster dose; just that you need a booster within 270 days of the 2nd dose
