I'm thinking I'd like to take my youngest DD to DLP at Easter. I had intended to take her in 2020, but Covid... this is likely to be the last year she's interested in going. She's 11.

Anyhow, I need to try to keep costs down if I can, and as it'll just be her & me and we both have a tendency towards being a bit anxious, so I'd like to keep it as simple as possible.

Can anyone tell me how easy it is to get from airport to DLP? Flight times and prices are better than the Eurostar but is it worth the convenience to be straight there?

Also, any advice re hotels that won't be miles away or require a second mortgage?

Thanks in advance :-)

I like to be on-site or at a partner hotel, make sure they have a free shuttle as taxis can be super pricy. I've not been for a few years but the one thing I always forget is how expensive food is at the parks and village so that's worth taking into account. I know if you book direct with Disney there can been some good offers that include meal plans so that might be worth looking at.

You can prebook the magic shuttle from the airport to the park. I prefer to prebook a taxi. I use Prestige. Much quicker, less hassle but more expensive.

Hotels will depend on what you want and can afford. You’ve got the onsite hotels, the partner hotels and then big standard book your own. If you want to keep costs down look at areas such as Val D’europe as there are shuttle buses in and out of the park every day.

I prefer being onsite.

Research is key. If on Facebook join Disneyland Paris for Brits and be sure you know what is on at the moment as I know a lot is off in terms of character dining, meet and greets etc.
