I wonder if anyone here has been through this scenario...
Would like to travel and transit through France to reach my destination EU country which will permit entry as I have a Covid recovered certificate which is accepted there.
I have to provide a reason for essential travel in France from the list that is permitted. The only one which may be applicable is "Travellers in transit for less than 24 hours in an international zone".
Has anyone tried to use this while travelling by car? I think it may only be applicable to air travel...
Does anyone have experience of French border control in Dover whether cars are being permitted to use this reason?
I have requests outstanding with the French Embassy in UK, plus the UK Embassy in France but am getting nowhere.
