What to pack for Florida in late February/ Disney generally?

I feel like I'm being incredibly dense, but I'm really unsure what to pack for Florida in February. Will summer stuff with a couple of jumpers and pairs of trousers thrown in cut it? Or do we need more Spring/Autumn type stuff?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions if things that they appreciated packing/ wished they had packed for Disney? We're staying in a Disney resort and expecting to be out and about for long days.

TIA

You can take bags on all the rides, even Rock n Roller Coaster so don't worry if you need to stick stuff in bags like an umbrella.

This is a good site for looking at historic weather including high temps lows (usually night) and rainfall. We used it for our numerous trips, once in a lifetime, ha!

We just did Florida. We ate outside as much as possible to avoid Covid, so it was really useful to have warm clothes for the evenings.

We had one day where it was rainy but we had tickets for an all-day attraction, so our waterproofs were invaluable.

Have fun!

We've been in February half term a few times. It's mostly warm, sometimes hot. We had one week where the first couple of days were cooler - Florida locals had big coats and hats in, we added a hoodie to t shirts and shorts! It was still warm (about 20/21) but cooler in a morning.

Re what to wear the parks - go for comfort. They are long, busy and tiring days with a heck of a lot of walking, and also standing for longish periods of time on hard pavements and floors.

Layers in case of cooler days.

Thanks ImInStealthMode, gogohm & Diditopknot. Sounds like spring/summer mix then. We have mid-weight waterproofs, so we'll take them and some hoodies, together with a mix of bottoms.

We have the comfy shoes sorted. I'm taking my well-used hiking trainers!

It varies! I would hedge your bets. Very comfortable shoes and clothes for the evening if you are going to the nicer restaurants, then layers including a waterproof and umbrella

Really really comfy shoes. Sketchers are the best.
You walk for miles and miles so need good comfy shoes.

A good backpack That fits bottles of water, snacks. Hoodies in.

A few years ago now but I went to Orlando in early February and it was a real mix. A couple of days were shorts and t-shirt HOT, and we had one day when it was cold and poured rain all day and we had to buy extra layers in a park souvenir shop. On average (and having just looked back at pictures) it seems I wore comfy jeans/t-shirt/trainers most days with either a hoodie or a light jacket round my waist in case I needed it.

If memory serves it was often cooler early morning going to the parks first thing, and again after it got dark, but warm during the day.

So to conclude, summer stuff with some warmer items thrown in should do it!
