Did you enjoy Dubai?

We had booked for Gran Canaria at Christmas but looks like we can't go now with the new rules.

Thinking of rebooking for Dubai if there is any availability as it looks like currently you can still travel with a PCR test if you're not jabbed (I'm aware this may well change though).

It wouldn't be my first choice of holiday destination as it seems a bit artificial but maybe I'm wrong. We have 3 teen dds who would love the water parks etc and the weather is good in December.

Please tell me your honest thoughts about Dubai, good and bad! Thanks.

For winter sun it’s a great destination. Hotels are excellent , service is good and if it’s a beach holiday you are after it ticks the boxes. We’ve been as a family many times and my kids love it. For me after so many visits the novelty has worn off, not because it isn’t a good holiday destination, but because once you have done the few tourist attractions there’s not much more to offer. But yes, I would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed it as a winter sun destination, I’ve been twice for four and then five nights. I enjoyed the water parks and Aquarium at our hotel and all the different restaurants. I did a trip into the desert, the creek and souk, went for a couple of walks, went on the monorail, watched the light show set to music, went to Dubai museum, went up the big tower with the fastest lift. I also went in a mall the second time I visited.
I enjoyed the hotel and also found lots to do out and about.
