The other day on AIBU There was a top 10 uk attractions thread and I got so many ideas re places to visit with my dc.

I was wondering if I could start a European equivalent as I was to start planning some track further afield having been restricted for so long.

My ideas would include

A Balearic island
A Greek island
Venice
Paris in spring
Rome
French/Belgian battlefields
Sagrada familia
Normandy coast
Ann frank's house

Mine are much dominated by France and Spain tho!

Any ideas??

Watching with interest as we're thinking about where to go (covid permitting of course) after DS2 finishes GCSEs next summer. First chance for a "term time" holiday in 20 years so might look for somewhere tgat would normally be out of our price range.
But FWIW, my favourite European places are:
Flanders - all of it really.
Milan and Italian Lakes
Santilliana del Mar in Northern Spain
Rome
Ronda, Andalucia
Black Forest area of Germany
Strasbourg
Soller, Mallorca
Places I've not been yet but want to:
Krakow
Moscow
St Petersburg
Berlin
Pompeii
Seville

For me, in Barcelona, Montjuïc Castle on a clear day was the best thing to visit. Far better than Sagrada or Park Guell.
