Mexico this Christmas?

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone believes hat Mexico would be removed from the red list in next weeks travel restrictions review?
Really want to go somewhere hot with all inclusive package this Christmas as had quite hard time lately losing my dad to Covid and could do with doing nothing on the beach!!!
Or is there something similar to Mexico with nice sandy beaches, hot weather and all inclusive?
Thanks all!!!

We were meant to be in Mexico in September, obviously it was cancelled and the earliest I could move it to was next May. I'm on quite a lot of Mexico groups and there is still a lot of uncertainty about even getting there in May 😭
They are still only on 30% double jabbed and have never really closed their borders properly from what I can gather.
I understand the desperation to get there though, I really do - it's such an amazing place. We have been cancelled twice this year and I cried both times, as silly as it sounds. I also booked following the death of a parent so I understand completely and I'm so sorry for your loss.
Book it anyway if you have the money - if you book with TUI they give you an incentive to rebook if they cancel so you could always push it back a couple of months and add a few extra days on the holiday.

I’ll be interested to see what changes if any are made to the red list - some of the noises from the dept of transport were that not much would change now until new year.

To be fair canary is nice too it’s not going to be hot enough in December though I don’t think. Maybe next summer as one of the options . Thanks for suggestions though @Awayfromhome448!

@TyotyaKlava Canaries was only a suggestion, I know it wouldn't compare to Mexico but still...
We enjoyed the Canary Islands very much.

Sorry for your loss.
I'd be cautious regarding Mexico at the moment.
We went to the Canaries January 2020, it was lovely and warm, we went all inclusive and had a fab time. Mexico does look amazing though, I've always wanted to go. (sorry not very helpful).

We went to Mexico to our honeymoon in 2013, it was amazing! And all inclusive can’t be compared to Canary Islands, so much better choice and quality. I have really fond memories of it and would like to go there again as a family of four this time 🥰
