Ds and DH looking to go somewhere for a week for Spring Bank - I realise it's very soon as to whether it will even be possible but even if it were they can't agree.
Dh has a busy stressful job, is not sporty and craves some sun. He wants to relax, eat good food, drink in the evenings and maybe a little sightseeing.
Ds doesn't know what he wants but declares the above "boring". He's sportyish, not shy, and not a sun lover- likes to be busy/ occupied. Spends far too much time on pc/ phone.
I thought maybe an ai where ds could learn to sail but he's poo-pooing a kids club.

The whole holidays with teenagers is a bit of a mare, please tell me what's worked for you.

Mark Warner would probably suit him. He sounds a lot like my 13-year-old DS www.markwarner.co.uk/sun-holidays/summer-2021

Take a friend or cousin along with you? It's really boring anywhere on their own at that age but you can be more flexible if he has teenage company.

Do you mean UK or abroad?
If UK maybe Cornwall somewhere where they have activities like surfing and canyoning if your DS would do that on his own?

Abroad Neilson holidays would be ideal for you - loads for DS to do and DH can relax.

DS is 14 almost 15, we're getting round it by bringing a pal for a holiday this year, but in the past DH also likes doing things like white water rafting and so forth so he does that with DS and I relax by the pool.
