Toddler friendly Tenerife recommendations

Currently doing some research into summer 2022 holidays (fingers crossed!) and feeling a bit overwhelmed. We were previously a book fairly last minute and go for an adventure type. However, we now have a toddler in tow (will be 2 next year) and are looking for a family holiday in Tenerife in early July 2022.

Any recommendations for particular resorts/hotels that would be good for a toddler but also have some family-friendly day trips? Have looked on all the usual websites, but the choice is just overwhelming.

TIA

We stayed in a superior premium room which was gorgeous, very safe large balcony, views over the whole pool area, the Merlin rooms look great too, i think they are closer to the play area/kids pool.
The jacuzzi's aren't hot, just warm, our little girl had just turned 3 and she LOVED the jacuzzi! or as she called it, the bubbly pool :-D
Food was great too

Tagoro Family and Fun was a lovely hotel
www.dreamplacehotels.com/en/hotel-tagoro

We went Nov19 and booked flights and hotel separate as worked out around £400 cheaper

I would recommend Jet2 everytime, they’ve been great handling refunds during pandemic and last year when we got caught up/delayed coming home in the sandstorm, despite some initial hiccups, they did look after everyone and again speedy refunds of all expenses incurred with no chasing at all. I have priced up doing separate flights and booking hotel direct but so far it’s proved more expensive though we’ve limited flight options from up here.

I’ve noticed some do free child places on certain dates and some hotels haven’t released bookings as far ahead as next July yet.

Also does any one recommend a specific tour operator? Tui and Jet2 seem to have a wide selection of hotels

Thanks @Vikingmama79 fingers crossed your holiday goes ahead and you have a lovely time!

I have toddlers now, but went to Tenerife pre babies. I would go back to costa Adeji area with toddlers. I should follow this thread!

Bumping for you. I'm surprised there aren't more people keen to discuss holiday ideas now we have all been couped up so long.

Following, would love to go back to Tenerife now I have a toddler. Feels like a nice safe option as a first trip abroad with him. No recommendations myself I'm afraid as we just went as a couple last time. Next time I'd be interested in proximity to the zoo and water parks but as you probably know, car hire is really cheap, so you don't have to stay too close.

Isabel hotel at Costa Adeje looks nice. Apartments so a bit more room and flexibility for a toddler although there is also a restaurant. Nice warm pool.

Hi, I can recommend GF Isabel in Fanabe area, whilst my children are well passed toddler stage there looked to be some great provision for that age group and a lovely little kids club if you want it. GF Victoria is also another good option where we stayed last year and bit more upmarket, that one has a fab waterpark area with area dedicated for little ones, I was a bit gutted mine were too old for it as looked great fun. Both are in great location for beach and restaurants.

Adrian Hoteles Roca Nivaria is perfect for families. It has a really super free crèche, kids pool, playground, indoor soft play and rooms with a separate living area.
It’s on the SW coast near a laid-back mix of shops, bars and restaurants. It’s not to far from Jungle Park and you can be at Mount Teide in an hour.
