So we have flights and accommodation booked for Nice France on 10 August for 3 nights with 3 children.

How would you feel about it? Would you go? Honest answers please

I wouldn't personally. Nice airport is huge and very very busy. Not a place I'd be wanting to go for the foreseeable (was meant to be flying back from there today- flights were cancelled but we'd decided against it anyway)

Whilst many major French cities have started to return to some form of normality be aware that the French authorities are getting a bit "twitched" about increases in the R rate in two or three of the French regions.

Nice is in one of those regions - PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur)...

Nice/PACA is green for other many other criteria, it's just the R number that's causing concern.

Easyjet have been cancelling some flights. My flight to Nice was cancelled on 2/7/20. They were actually asking people over 14 days before the flight who had booked flights to cancel them and get a voucher. There is a Group on facebook - ''complain to Easyjet - not so easy''.

We're flying to Nice on Monday. We have friends who have been there this week and have said it's pretty much normal life there albeit face masks will be mandatory inside from Monday (hardly anyone is wearing them at the moment)

Would it be worth going? Would you be able to do the things you intended? I cancelled my holiday (was supposed to fly today) as it wasn't going to be the experience we wanted.
