Legoland family rooms

Can anyone recommend a hotel near to Legoland that has a family room with separate beds for the children and even better if a separate room (part of suite not interconnected).
My 2 dcs will not sleep well if they’re in a double bed together and dh doesn’t fancy just sitting in the dark when the kids go to bed Smile

But if it isn't one of the partnered hotels, you won't get the second day "free", so bear in mind when comparing prices.

A few years ago we stayed in family room at devere belmont Estate. Our room had 2 levels.. Split by a few steps.. The lower level had twin beds, the upper level ours. Not sure if that's standard. Also had pool.

Free parking, local and not a congested route.

Thanks- on the Legoland website a lot of them say 2x double beds or double bed and double sofa bed.
We stayed in the Grange hotel Bracknell a few years ago and they had a family suite (2 separate areas and single beds did the kids) but they don’t seem to be on the Legoland website anymore with the 2nd day free deal

We stayed in the Hilton near Legoland and had family room and then asked for a pull out bed/extra bed.

Four people, DH and I in double, pull out sofa for dd and extra bed for son.

Ten mins up road and half
the price 😁

I wouldn’t expect a family room anywhere to make the kids share a double bed though? Have you checked which beds they provide?

I’ve decided to stay in a local hotel instead. TripAdvisor is full of reviewers who went when the hotel was newer, and enjoyed it, but then have gone again recently and found everything to be tired and poorly maintained, with dreadful food!

We stayed in the CBeebies hotel at Alton Towers, and enjoyed it, but don’t feel like staying in the LL ones now I’ve seen the reviews.

But I’m always tired in the evenings, so don’t mind an early “lights out”!

Thanks - yes it’s mainly the cost. Almost double the price but I guess maybe we should pay it if we’re being fussy about separate rooms and beds!

I expect you already know that the on-site Legoland hotels have family rooms with separate kids’ bedroom, with bunk beds? Have you dismissed it on cost grounds?

I was looking into this recently. There are several family breaks on the Legoland website whereby you book either a Legoland hotel, or one they are linked with nearby, and get the second day at the park free. But the actual on-site hotels are the only ones I remember stating a separate kids’ area.

The on-site hotels are significantly pricier though, and the Tripadvisor reviews do not make it sound worth paying the extra money.
