self catering gites type holiday in northern spain

I'm trying to recreate our amazing french holiday experiences on family gites, but in Spain. But I have no idea what to search for! Ideally i'm looking for a cluster of cottages where families and kids go to, with loads to do for different ages, including a pool and near the beach. Has anyone stumbled across something like this in Spain? Thanks so much! X
