Norwegian Airlines - plus size

Hi all - I’m flying soon on a long haul flight with Norwegian and I’m a plus size woman.. it’s never been comfortable flying but never had a problem.. however I hear Norwegian have very slim seats so slightly worried . Wondered if anyone has flown with them before?

The website 'seat guru' should be able to tell you what sort of aircraft you'll be flying on, where your seat is, etc.

Not flown Norweigan but been economy on a dreamliner. I am a 20-22 seats were tight but fine and plenty of room left on the belt.

Flown with them many times. Even emigrated here with them. I’m a size 20. No problems at all with the seat all the way to the west coast.

Their premium section is really roomy and you can usually bid on upgrades- DH got one for $50 last time.

I flew Norwegian to US a few years ago and I'm sure it was a Dreamliner.

Not necessarily the smallest seats but room between rows is extremely tight. If you haven't yet I would book an aisle seat at the very least.

I’m flying with them shortly as well. I’ve flown them Shorthaul & their seats were on the smaller side but long haul they use dreamliners for a lot of their destinations which according to their marketing gumpf are ‘65% bigger than comparable aircraft’. So in theory, you should be ok? However, as they’re waiting for the Boeing aircraft they have paid for to pass safety tests, they are using partner airlines to deliver some flights so if that’s the case for your flight (you should have been notified if it has but check your online/app booking) then hard to say what aircraft you’ll be getting!
