Florida - May or October??

We went in February half term several years ago and weather was great and queues not bad at all, was also quite cheap. We had two days at water parks like warm summer day here and just long sleeve tops in the evening.

I went in May. It was really hot though, but as I was pregnant at the time as well, I think I was suffering more. When we came back it was pouring with rain though. You can never trust the weather here!!

I've been in May and Oct before. The weather at both times was lovely. May has the advantage that you come back to nice weather (in thoery). When we came back in Nov last year it was **ing freezing!

ye we checked with delta who we are flying with there policy is they will allow travel up too 36th week ,my doctor seems too think why not but a long way off we did get insurance with a company called PHA but they insure up too 32 weeks i will be 33 on return but it does cover for cancellation so in the event of illhealth god forbid that we av 2 cancel we get the full holiday price refunded but none of the companies insure for delivery so what a waste of time anyway we are goin on a beach holiday this time to st petes not on a mad walkabout jolly4

Been twice in Oct and had lovely weather both times. Also parks were not too crowded. Hurricanes can happen in Oct but more usual in Sept.

Hurricanes in Oct, just my luck! We are going on the 11th for three weeks as recommended by Thomas Cook! Think of me if it happens!

We went in October about 10 years ago and it was fine but there had been storms a couple of weeks before. The Americans we met said they generally came down in May as the weather was more settled and attaractions a bit less crowded.

I'd be surprised if any insurance company would cover you transatlanitc that advanced. most operate on a 28 or 32(with dr.'s note)week limit for long haul. also the airline itself might be reluctant so check ahead.

We went early March & April. One time it was Spring Break & there were large children everywhere but TBH it wasn't a problem. My friend went in October & said it was full of English people!!

March/April weather is warm but not unbearably hot & no funny weather!

I've been in March (too busy because of Easter and Spring Break), April(busy, busy, busy), September(too hot) and November (nice temperature and not too busy). Yes September/October is hurricane season but we were there when they had one in March a few years ago.

Hello every one, i am due to go to Florida on Chrismas day, for a nine day holiday. My concerns are i will be 33 weeks pregnant on the day of return. Does anyone know of any insurance companys which will insure me. I will be traveling with my partner and our 7 year old son. Can anybody recommend a insurance company which will cover us for our holiday.
