Have been to CP sherwood 4x now, got back from last trip on friday. Booked immediatly to go back same time next year but they didnt have a EXEC 4 bed available, only had one at longleat available, so we booked that instead.
Im looking forward to trying somewhere different, although i still love sherwood and we had a great time again this year, it will be nice to see what longleat is like but can anyone who has been there give me some tips?
ta x

We have never been to CP, but have booked to go in March, we have booked a 4 bed exec villa and when I booked it, they said it was fairly central.

No, I have no idea, but if you go to their website it has a map with all the villa numbers on it and it tells you what type they are.

do you recall where the exec 4 bed villas are? (or do you remeber seeing any?)
sherwood is great as its not that big really. dont fancy shredding my calf muscles trying to drag ds up a hill in a burley trailer.

Well they are relatively far apart so it depends what you will be using more. I would have thought it would be better to be near the pool really. The sports centre is also where the time out clubs are and the adventure playground. It also has in indoor play area.

We went in November to longleat. It was our first time at CP and we really enjoyed it, but I would not go back to longleat (we have booked Elvedon for next month). My reason is that it is just soooo hilly and spread out. We were right at one end away from the pool and there was no way we could use the bikes - too far and too hilly. The sports centre was closer to our side but right down in a dip. So to walk to it meant going down (and them up ) a husge amount of steps. There was a landtrain that went farily frequently around the park, but there were two problems with it. First, you HAD to fold your pushchair to get on nit. This meant that you couldn't take a sleeping baby on it. It also got very very busy at peak times. The second problem was that if you wanted to go to the stop BEFORE your villa (it went one direction only in a circle), it was a very very long ride - 45 minutes ish.

The park was lovely, the facilities were lovely. The hills were not!

Can't tell you much about CP, except that my friend loves that one.

Longleat is great for kids, loads to do.

And you're not far from Bath or Salisbury if you fancy a day away or some shopping!!
